About Us
We are Robert & Shelby and we wanted to create a small but spacious hotel for a maximum of 10 guests with a laid back yet subtly sophisticated atmosphere.
The location had to blend into or be part of an existing environment & community as well as being on or very close to a beach
We found the perfect location. A bar and restaurant in Lower Bay, that had closed. Regular visitors to Bequia may remember it as Coco’s Place. Nestled amongst tropical fruit trees and plants, just above Lower Bay village with stunning views of the bay and the beach that is less than a minutes’ walk away
Over a period of 3 years we re-developed the site, adding new buildings and extending the original structure adding 5 guests rooms and reopening the bar and restaurant, but for the sole use of our guests, ensuring a quiet tranquil atmosphere with unobtrusive yet attentive service
We believe that it is the small things that make a difference. Unlimited ground coffee served in French presses at breakfast, soft towels, local honey, we bake our own fresh breads & pastries’ daily, complimentary use of beach towels and snorkeling equipment saving you luggage space, our daily housekeeping staff won’t wake you if you are sleeping in. Above all listening to our guests needs and striving to meet them.
